Mama's got to do better!

So many pictures and so little time to update the blog... Braylen is now 9 weeks (where has the time gone?!?!) and at this moment is napping in his swing.

As you can see in a picture below (taken around 6 weeks), he loves to nap in his swing...
so let me see if I can catch everyone up a bit...

Weekend at Grammie and Poppy's. Braylen slept ALL weekend. I am sure it had NOTHING to do with the fact that Grammie and Poppy held him in the rocking chair and patted his hiney the whole time! :) He also had his first shower and loved it! Actually in about 48 hours time span, he got 3 showers!
While in Montgomery, we took a trip to Clanton. Braylen's first trip meet much of his extended family. Braylen is napping on the blanket that Maw-Maw, Gammie's mother, made him. It is super cute and a very sweet gift!

Braylen met Maw-Maw, his Great-Grandmother for the first time. (as well as a few of his cousins!) Of course as soon as we got in the door, he made a special dirty diaper, just as Maw-Maw was loving on him for the first time. It was a good one... it got all over his super cute outfit.

Braylen turned 8 weeks while Meme stayed with us for the week. It was Vacation Bible School at the church and we needed Meme here to help watch Braylen while I was at work. Brannon was impressed with Meme's quick and efficient bath routine. Who needs one of those cute baby bath tubs when Meme is here? The sink alone worked perfect!

So Brannon thought it was super funny that I got peed on. As you can see below, it was a full blown stream from Braylen to Mommy.

So this is what a wild and crazy Saturday night at the Traywick's looks like! (Don't let me fool you... we wouldn't have it any other way) We love this little guy!

Just as a bit of news, Braylen's soon-to-be best friend will be arriving from Ethiopia in late July!!! Ginger and Jeff (follow them here) will be traveling to Africa to get their precious baby boy, Judah Wells Nix in about four weeks! Go check out his picture, with his head full of crazy hair! I LOVE IT! It has been a long journey for the Nix family, but oh so worth it! We can't wait to meet this sweet blessing from God!
